Moya was actually built for cruising in the higher latitudes, as evidenced by the deck saloon, second helm inside, and a heated dry room in the middle of the ship. By her previous owners she has been sailed exclusively in the Baltic and Northern Sea. We extensively tested her while cruising in warmer regions and have been enjoying the generous cockpit, the bathing platform and perfect ventilation inside.
The yacht provides habitat for about 6 people in 2 cabins, the deck saloon and the central nave. A total of 7 bunks can be used permanently without blocking the "dining room". There are 2 bunks in the front cabin, 3 bunks in the masters cabin, a comfortable berth between deck saloon and front cabin and a berth in the passage to the aft. 2 bathrooms each with a toilet, a shower, the large pantry, lots of storage, together with a large fuel tank and a water maker allow self sufficient long distance sailing and permanently living on board.
Technology has been largely relegated to the engine room below the deck saloon as well as the navigation area, making all gear easily accessible for repairs and leaving plenty of room for food, clothing and fun stuff.
